The purpose of the RUN services is to restore the customer ServiceNow instance’s functionalities and performances in the event of an Incident, at the same levels as before the Incident occurred, by adopting an effective Incident Management process.
When opportune, the root cause of the Incident shall be analysed, with the purpose of identifying the underlying Problems and a feasible way to address them, so to prevent the reoccurrence of similar Incidents and/or limit their impact on Customer’s operations.
In addition, RUN services manage Service Requests logged by authorized customer representatives such as requests for the provision of a small / medium complexity service (up to 2 hours of effort), which do not require code changes and complex change management procedures and with no associated significant risks.
